Excellent Read on Tennessee Football Sports Purist If you are a Tennessee Volunteer fan - or even a die-hard college football fan - this is an excellent read. Author Ray Glier is one of the most credible sports journalists around and is a real authority on SEC football.. Excellent If you are a tried and true Tennessee football fan you will love this book. First of all you will have a great time going back through time and seeing players your either forgot about, or were not alive to see.It is also an easy read, because it isn't a novel. You can skip around from player to player and story to story in whatever order you prefer. So for the non-book lovers, this is more like ready. Very good read! I purchased this book for my husband. He is not an avid reader but he had this book in his hand until the last page was read. Could hear him mutter"well, I didn't know that ". So, based on his comments and how quickly he read it, I would have to say IT WAS A GOOD READ FOR AN OLE TENNESSEE BOY!
