I purchased this book very recently so haven't had time to paint any of the demonstrations but can see at first glance this book will be both fun and instructive to work through. The florals are colorful and there is a lot of information for beginners! From Mastering Basic Techniques, Composing a Pleasing Design, and Setting up a Still Life to Creating a Floral Landscape and Depicting a Botanical Scene,it's all there! And I especially liked the extra painting instructions for the hummingbird and butterf. Great information for such a short book gracies mom For a relatively short book this packs a wallop with wonderful visuals and information beginning tools needs and colors and moving into how to use them with examples and step by step examples. this is on my kindle I I constantly return to enjoy it again and again..
