R
Poisonous People and Plodding Plot. Ozmatoo MAJOR SPOILER + LOW RATING ( for a pretty unsatisfactory book):Major problems with this 11th Ghostwalker tale: 1. Dreadful plot with tons of dialogue redundant sex with a really macho guy. Characters: Many are supposedly Cajun folks, but they seem as authentic as a scene from the set of the Beverly Hillbillies (complete with a pipe smokin' grub cookin' shotgun totin' granny)2. Three creepy little toddlers, who are (sadly) lab created hybrid human/poisonous animal, and are named after spices. They can't control . Absolute Rubbish Absolutely horrible for a Ghostwalker book. Wyatt is an a-hole, if I was Gator I'd punch him in the head. He treats Pepper like a slave, and she's a semi-useless character anyway. "When I get all jealous and mean you just need to deal with it." Uh.what?! No, you need a swift kick in the cajones my friend. The enhancements are getting completely ridiculous now, with Cayenne being able to use spider silk and Trap walking through walls. When did this become a knockoff version of the X-men? I used to love Feehan's . "No. Just nothis can't be written by Feehan." according to Meanbean7. First. would I recommend this book? If you're invested into the series, I don't know how I cannot recommend it if you have liked the series up until now. Specially, if you have no intention to stop reading her books. You might not like this story per se, but you will want to read it just for the plot developmentif you're like me and have been on the fence with Feehan, stop now. It's not worth it. If this is your FIRST FEEHAN BOOK, please do yourself a favor and get Dark Prince or the first book in this series.
In addition to her GhostWalker novels, #1 "New York Times" bestselling author Christine Feehan is the author of the Dark Carpathian series, the Leopard series, the Sea Haven series, the Drake Sisters novels and the Sisters of the Heart novels.
But her secrets are about to take them both deeper into the bayou than either imagined--where desire is the deadliest poison of all. While Wyatt and his GhostWalker brother Gator may have known exactly the sort of game they were getting into, Wyatt never anticipated where it would lead--or to whom. Now, from the author of the Dark Carpathian series, comes the newest in Christine Feehan's explosive GhostWalker series GhostWalker Wyatt Fontenot knows the price he paid for the secret military experiments that gave him his special catlike abilities. Ward, #1 "New York Times" bestselling author "Christine Feehan continues to amaze readers" ("The Eternal Night") with her phenomenal novels. Right now Pepper needs a man like Wyatt. The swamps hold many mysteries, but few are as sinuously seductive as Le Poivre de Cayenne. From what, Wyatt is soon to discover. The woman the locals call Pepper is every bit as enigmatic as the three little girls she's desperately trying to protect. After all, he left his bayou home a healer and came back a killer. Hailed as "the queen of paranormal romance" by J.R. Passionately. NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED INCLUDES
