Kim61 said My review is for all 5 books in this series. I really enjoyed this series. It is written in a type of journal by Gwen and her experience with vampires. I would have liked for the books to have all been in one book because each book is relatively short but I was so curious at the end of the first book to see where this story was going to go that I would immediately purchase the next book in quick succession. This story has a different twist on the usual vampire story as it has a biblical twist to it which I found to be intriguing. I had read another book with the same premise as . Fascinating tales Beth Crader We come to the end of Gwen's tales of the past 500+ years she's been a vampire along with the tale Robert spun for her.I enjoyed reading this except for the ending. Leaving the story in 1650's is not satisfying to me. Where did she go, what happened to her familythose are unanswered questions. This series was more satisfying than most because of several factors.they could walk in the sun and their core personality is exaggerated once they become vampire. Matilda was cruel and enjoyed being so.was that always there? To have survived as. Jade Marie said Great Journey. It was another great read. I will be looking forward to the stories continuing and in the mean time I'm off to explore more of Charmaine's writings.
