DESCRIPTION:
A Middle of the Road Anthology This wasn't a bad anthology of short stories, but it wasn't great, either. Middle of the road, I'd say. There are some outstanding stories in this work, like Yoon Ha Lee's story "Effigy Nights," and I think that if you get the book you'll find some really good reads, but you'll also find a lot of ho-hum work. Thing is, you'll probably like different stories than me, so it's all good. I figure that if you really like eight out of forty stories you're doing all right. There are about forty stories in this book, and I really liked about ten of them, so for me it was a worthwhile collection. When I was done with it I donated it to th.
