Great series! Great series, I hope the author invents another adventure series like this some day. I have always enjoyed Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Adventure books the most and this series fits in both the Fantasy and Adventure genres nicely. And it was a fresh concept I had. Although I suspect this would be a great and easy read for middle grade children Being older than middle grade, plunging for this book was a gamble, but ultimately well worth it. Tiny cogs whirled in a soundless high speed blur. Within the milky substance of the disc lay a thin metal structure. On the right wall a rack held a cutlass and a broadsword. Above the chests, objects lay piled on a shelf. All the artefacts glowed with a pale light. Their homeland, Haverland, owned thousands of artefacts but few people saw one. A brass circular button sat flush against the outside center of the disc, and a black dot marked one edge of the button. What Bliss held resembled an athlete’s discus. Bliss traced her finger across the disc. Magic artefact discs “Stone me!” He said. “An artefact disc! I’ve never seen a real one before.” Aden had never seen one before, either.
