Suprisingly Insightful I picked this deck up because I like Steampunk and it delighted me that someone had done Tarot in the imagery of that style. But I expected it to be kind of gimmicky. In fact I was able to understand some Tarot concepts more clearly than I ever had with other decks I have explored(Connolly, Robinwood, & Druid). The book is short but organizes the information so clearly. Looking at the list of Major Arcana in order, as provided in the boo. Astonishing! The Matthew's Arthurian Tarot has always been one of my favorites.But they have definitely surpassed themselves with this one. The imagery is astonishing. They certainly collaborated with the perfect illustrating artist for this project!Their renaming of the cards and suits is excellent - it draws me more deeply into this strange & wonderful universe. I think they really hit their pinnacle with the book as well. I love that they include . "Complex and Insightful" according to Janet Boyer.
