Erik said I rather enjoyed this. The writing is superb. As someone who doesn't normally read romance, I rather enjoyed this. The writing is superb, and never gets too clunky or overly preachy. It tells the story; from the romantic-filled scenes between Tessa, Aaron, and Bryson, and even the tension-filled moments of being put in the cross-hairs of powers that want to use or explo. An interesting easy to read story that flowed relatively well I received a copy of this book through Kindle Scout.An interesting easy to read story that flowed relatively well. I think part of what kept me from giving this book more stars was that the focus of the book wasn't what I was hoping it would be. I was excited to read a book about Tessa and her newly discovered abilities. Ins. Amazon Customer said Supernatural romance. I haven't read much fantasy featuring Native American folklore, so that was a nice twist. Otherwise, the characters are not particularly sympathetic or well-rounded. The plot was pretty good, I guess. I made it to the end, but won't be looking for a sequel.
