The Aura of Andy Warhol Andrew B. Williams The Philosophy of Andy Warhol is an interesting read. First impression of the book appears strange with the introduction consisting of the conversation between "A" and "B." It seems like you get a glimpse of Warhol's strange mind, yet it is short lived, you realize its an every day conversation he has with a friend. It seems that through out the book you come to know Warhol as an everyday person. This creates or breaks th. Turns your mind upside-down This is one of my 5 favorite books of all time. I'm not a huge fan of Andy's art, but his PHILOSOPHIES are AMAZING! He's got such a creative mind. Willing to look at things from underneath instead of only from the front. Such great thoughts as, "If there's one person I would really like to put on retainer it would be a boss. Someone that tells you what to do so you don't need to make all of your own decisions." And, "The . "A BIBLE FOR THE ORIGINAL THINKER" according to traceybeehive. I read this book once a year because it puts the world in perspective for me. I don't really love his paintings and I think the "scene" he created was fun but as far as writing goes.Andy Warhol is really surprisingly wonderful . He is humorous but also hits a nerve about superficial things that makes you look at it all in a new way. He is sweet and manipulative and original and naive and incredibly ahead of his time and t
