Limited Information Kimberly A. Hambric While there were some great photos in this book, I didn't find much else. Time after time, I saw a countertop or other material I loved and could find no info in text or captions about it. Also, there were far too many "one shot" photos of kitchens. I was hoping to more kitchens from different angles. Very little discussion of materials -- marble vs. other materials, for example. I would say it has good supplemental material, but not nearly enough to make it a bible.. Don't Design Your Kitchen Without It Beautifully written, exquisite photos, and thoughtful, practical guidance to the terrifying task of renovating a kitchen. Absolutely an essential tool.. Inspirational Kitchen Book This is an interesting sourcebook for kitchen remodeling ideas. I am a fan of Jennifer Gilmer whose design studio is in Chevy Chase, MD near where we live. Her designs always win awards in the DC area. We have just begun (mostly) DIY remodeling and I have a lot more research! So far, this book has been helpful in our planning.
