Disappointing As a calendar, this is quite functional. However, no other picture within its pages depict the Golden Age of Railways as dramatically and so satisfyingly as the Art Deco poster shown on the cover. That is what sold me on this particular calendar and it was quite disappointing to find that this view of the Daylight is only on the cover and not showcased for any month of the year. The other months are. David Thomson said Power and Style. Excitement, Power, Speed, Adventure all presented with great style and suave! What an exciting time to travel when ordinary people (not only those who can afford first class air tickets) could speed from place to place and ENJOY the trip as well as the destination.
