Mr. Echols was under the impression that if you have not done anything wrong or broken the law, the justice system would protect you. But in this case, it tried to destroy him. I only hope that today he might trust that the majority of those in the justice system would not be so devious and self serving. Maybe they would think better of it after reading this book.
