Jessy Sue said It's funny because it's true. Sometimes I think about the state of things in the world and I get depressed. The environment happens to fall into this category. I tote around my own water bottle and my own coffee cup. I ride my bike to work. I wash ziplock baggies so I can reuse them over and over until they fall apart. I print double-sided. I recycle!!!But it's not enough. I can do my part and if we all did our parts it would help, sure But we need more than that. Something bigger. Well, I'm not qualified to fig. She wants to save the whole earth! Amy is convinced there must be a way to get to the root of all our environmental problems. Will Amy defeat the opposition and convince the country to make the bold leap to sustainability before it's too late?. It’s definitely going to take a lot more than switching to compact fluorescent light bul
But it's hard not to laugh when a comic craftsman like Scott Erickson employs the satiric joy buzzers of Douglas Adams, the environmental whoopee cushions of Carl Hiaasen and every rubber chicken in Ralph Nader's briefcase in this witty debut, The Diary of Amy."- Patrick Wensink, author of Broken Piano for President and Everything Was Great Until it Sucked.
