A Real Bargain I love bargains, and I've had pretty good luck bargain hunting in the past, so I wasn't sure I'd learn anything new from this book. Happily, I was wrong! The Bargain Hunter's Handbook starts out with the 12 Secrets of the Bargain-Seeker. They're fairly common sense tips, but it never hurts to have a reminder. And within the 12 Secrets, they give some small examples of how to use the tips. The rest of the book is dedicated to big examples in specific areas, like shopping for cars, homes, and medical care (that was a new one on me), or just plain shopping. One of my favorite parts are the sidebars -- ca. Three Stars Terry Mangum Information is a bit dated, but for the discounted price there is a few nuggets.
