Amazon Customer said Fun for the first one or two books.. Blaylock's books are fun for the first fewthen they start to get a bit tired and tedious.. "Sympathy for the monster" according to Dutch. I have now purchased most of Blaylock's Amazon titles, and have yet to be let down by the author. What hooked me in were discussions about the author's peer group and fellow writers in the genre. This set of stories is a very easy read, with some light pseudo-science, and a classic, but alternative take on both Kraken and King Kong. Very entertaining to wind up sympathizing with the monster.
