"A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE PUBLISHING WORLD" according to Maudeen Wachsmith. This will go down as one of my favorite books of the year. I've been fortunate enough to go to several RWA conventions and this book starts with a fictitious convention resembling the RWA conference. Kendall, Tanya, Mallory and Faye met at a conference a decade ago and they are all now published writers. Kendall is a mid-list contemporary romance author, Tanya writes for a lin. Don't judge a book by the first chapters Yvonne Egbert The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the beginning. The book didn't come alive for me until the mountain house. Quite honestly I put this book aside twice. Once you get past the beginning it is a really good description of friendship, self respect, strength, and love. I have read most of Wendy's books and have never been disappointed.. "Great summer read!!" according to Amazon Customer. I like how the characters intertwined with each other. The plot was fast moving and very well written . Great summer read!!
