He decided the heroine, Mallory, was a shallow, superficial person based on how she dressed (oh the irony) and assumed that she was only interested in money because she jumped at the chance to get paid tons of money to make someone a custom wedding dress.I felt like it took him a really long time to grasp that she was a bit obsessed with money because she was so broke from trying to support her sister and pay tons of medical bills on a retail salary. However, I had a hard time believing the relationship between the two lead characters. I know relationships can be hot and cold, yet this felt quite extreme.Mechanically it is a well written book.
