Super Human - to say the very least! The entire story-line, beginning over four thousand years ago, is really very smart, all coming together in the present. The ideas are ingenious, the plot is masterful and the spirit, personality and emotion of the characters is flawless. Whether they are nasty, evil, quick-witted, clever, canny - I could go on, all of characters are very well rounded. The action scenes are very vivid, really powerful stuff, which come alive in each page.This is story-telling at it's best. Jack ganney said Amazing book. I love this book. I ordered the whole new heroes prequel series and I can say without a doubt that it's one of my favorite book series ever. Michael Carroll is one of my favorite writers and this book shows how much of an amazing writer he is. The book arrived in good condition. There was no torn pages, the cover came really clean and shiny, and there was no scuffs or marks on it. Love this series so much I bought all the books with my birthday money
