Very entertainingbut last 10% interview has spoilers for entire series! grrr So I used to be a big reader of SW fiction, starting back in the day with the original Thrawn books, up until and including the Hand of Thrawn Duology. At that point I stopped sometime in early 2000 because I had read them all (except the young jedi books, which i wasn't interested in). So after getting my kindle, i saw that all of this New Jedi Order was available on the kindle, and decided to start reading them in order, starting with Vector Prime. As far as the book goes, I enjoyed it thoroughly. It wasn't as good as the Zahn or Anderson books, but it was definitely enjoyable. What I DIDN'T enjoy, was when i finished the book, the l. Salvator gets an A with the story and plot but falls flat when it comes to the characters besides the solo kids.. Why Did You Kill Off Your Meal Ticket? Brian It was bad enough that you have a a more graphically violent antagonist, maybe the story line needed spicing up.And, it was bad enough you changed the personalities of Solo children from the gifted Jedi who could conquer the universe at age 7.And, it was bad enough that you have to kill the wookie Chewbacca, maybe the storyline needed the audience to focus on new characters.But, what possible purpose could there been in killing off Anakin Solo, the main character focus?
