Many of these stories have never been told or written. These women, who call themselves the SPURS, chose their name from Hebrews 10:24: And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together. There are stories with tragic situations that end with a redemptive quality that will encourage any reader. Some stories will make you laugh and remind you how much fun it is to be a Christian. You will be inspired, motivated and blessed, held in the grip of God's love, as you read. Even at our best, fallible creatures that we are, to succeed at staying together for thirty-five years and counting, is truly amazing. But there is something more - one senses the sure hand of God upon the lives of these friends, as He has providentially drawn and held them together.
