"Recommend it" according to Amazon Customer. Awesome book about audio. Got me addicted to learning about media after reading this.. "'Limited' information, even for a small book like this" according to T. W. Spakman. I always start reading 'tutorial' books by examining the table of contents. This looked promising. But An hour and a half or so later I finished the last page feeling disappointed. Expanders and Gates are mentioned only briefly, while the rest of the book deals with compressors and limiters. What can you tell? Most of the material is repeated 'Limited' information, even for a small book like this T. W. Spakman I always start reading 'tutorial' books by examining the table of contents. Brian Barnhart This is a basic descriptive book, but has very relevant information. Its to the point and very easy to read and understand.Now I can go on to read a more in depth manual and not be lost in the sauce.The play along CD with examples of different mixes helps out immensely.I recommend, for under $12, why not get it to have a fast reference guide at your finger tips.If your already a seasoned pro, or just think you are, you dont this series of books.
