DESCRIPTION:
This book focuses on all four sections on the TOEFL® iBT: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. Finally, each unit contains two passages along with questions for test takers to answer. Each unit contains passages and questions. Both students and teachers must make use of this tool in the best possible manner so that students may do as well as possible when they take the TOEFL® iBT. Therefore the passages are shorter, and the questions are easier than those found on the TOEFL® iBT. About This BookSmart TOEFL® iBT Reading Basic 1 consists of 10 Reading units. Since many topics on the TOEFL® iBT Reading section are repeated, this can benefit students. As for the Speaking and Writing sections, they contain sample questions and answers for all of the tasks found in those sections. By becoming familiar with the topics, subject matter, and vocabulary used in the passages in the Reading units, students can be more confident when they take the TOEFL® iBT.Each Reading unit contains an explanation of a type of question that appears after a Reading passage. Finally, there are two Reading passages of around 250-300 words. The Reading passages and Listening lectures and conversations in Smart TOEFL® iBT Basic cover many of the topics that have recently appeared on the TOEFL®iBT. The questions and topics found in the Speaking and Writing units are also those that have recently appeared.
Four Stars Amazon Customer Really helpfull. "Useful for thr TOEFL exam" according to Ozzy. The book explains everything about TOEFL reading section step by step. It contains all question types with several examples. It helped me a lot about reading.. A nice one! Ania M. Nowak The book is quite short but gives a good outline of various types of reading passages one may encounter in the TOEFL. there are also some tips how to approach a given type of a reading passage and some short tests although I'd like them to be longer and more difficult. I found this book quite helpful and I think it's worth the money (especially that the price wasn't steep!)
