It explains all the basics, not just of sexual intercourse, but of the human anatomy, both male and female, as it relates to sex, as well as how the mind plays a role in sex. It even gives advice on rela. Sex Ed Pretty self explanatory. Bought as gag gift. It served purpose. Probably most read book in our house by friends and family. One of those that everyone laughs at says they'd never read and then second you turn your back everyone is paging through. Haha!!! Funny and Informational!. "Very Educational" according to Cat Magick. I bought this book for a friend who had purposefully been kept away from the facts of sex and relationships. I found this to be heinous in this day and age. l bought him this book so he could look up things he had questions about and for whatever reason, felt too shy to ask me. I think it is fulfilling it's promise.
It's especially worthy reading--for young and old alike--for Westheimer's candid discussions of the often-ignored emotional and psychological aspects of sexuality, from the effects of losing one's virginity to having cybersex to handling premature ejaculation and other sexual problems.
