They are taken prisoners not in chains or in a cell but with suggestions that Sylvia will be killed if Terrill does not do their bidding. The Council is in the midst of a take over and the rules are being used to kill certain vamps and to insure the rise of certain individuals, not for the good of all vamps. Terrill sees this, and knows that they must escape but the timing has to be right so Sylvia will not be killed unbeknownst to . Texas Sandy Just read this book for the second time. Rule of Vampire is about a young female vampire who is on the run creating new vampires due to her thirst. Jamie dosen't have a mentor to teach her the ways an rules of vampire life. It has a interesting story line that leaves you wondering what will happen next. It is a very gory an graphic book of vampire killings. It has some very intense moments an I had a hard time finding a stopping point to get my housework done. I really enjoyed the book an look forward to the next one in the series.. "more great creepiness" according to Martha W. I started reading this book when I was supposed to be reading a different book that a friend had lent to me, but this one was so much better! I'd been MAKING myself get through the borrowed one, but just started devouring this one and enjoying it immensely. It is a sequel to Death of an Immortal, but it could work as a stand alone book. I'd still suggest reading the first one first though. Can't wait for the next in the series!
Every human Jamie bites becomes a vampire, and the feral Wilderings she creates are rampaging through the town of Crescent City. Jamie is on the run. But something unexpected happens along the way. "If you like your undead to be more Fright Night than Twilight, Duncan McGeary's Vampire Evolution Trilogy will be your cup of gore." Steve Perry, New York Times Bestselling Author of Men in Black, The Mask, and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire.
