"Portal to Loch Doon" according to mp1. I enjoyed this story. Finally I was able to read a story that actually gave me closure after reading so many epic series. I had a quiet afternoon and was going through Claire and Jamie withdraw (from the Author Diana Gabaldon) and was quite surprised that this was such a good read. The story lacked in details that Diana gives and could have more character development but Marce and Robert were believable. The story was sweet and easy to read great way to have spent my afternoon.. A delightful read! Portal to Loch Doon was a delightful read. The story was refreshing. Marcella and Robert were meant for each other, yet destiny had to reach through the centuries to find the true love each sought. Any obstacles the characters experienced due to the span of time were estutely overcome. Although the Scottish dialect threw me off a little at first, I soon caught myself mimicking Robert's brogue without realizing. It added a charming flavor to the dialogue. Historical information was intertwined in the story, but not as overwhelming as some . Nice Romance I think this was a great storyline, but the Scottish accent was a bit too much. I feel alittle less would have been better. Still, a great time travel novel. Would recommend to anyone.
