They are great practice readers. However, Set B does not continue the difficulty level. The Set B books are for additional practice to use along with Set A. He has already mastered these easy readers after finishing all of th. discription is confusing DD67 what you are getting is level B set 1 which contains 10 soft cover books with 8 pages of reading each.the discription talks about 140 readers, I beleive this is referring to the entire series.What you are paying is $2.20 per 8 page phonics reader.That being said this is a really nice set of readers, with bright pages. The stories are nice and make a little more sense that some of the phonics reader. "Excellent Early Readers" according to WintersCaMom. I love these readers. We have used Bob Books, Now I'm Reading, as well as readers supplied with our curriculum. But these are the best. The vocabulary is well controlled - they don't toss in sight words that the kids are not ready for, the stories are interesting, and the illustrations are well done.
