"A deck for modern times" according to Franklin Newman. This is a tarot pack that seems clearly designed for a study of modern life. The entire point is that this is a Wiccan who is trying to balance her faith with modern life. I enjoy using this deck, though there are some cards that seem a bit, well, unusual for their meaning. However, this deck has some brilliant moments, such as the Salem witch trials as a backdrop for the Judgment card. Those looking for a pagan good time aren't likely to be happy here. This deck seems to be about the spiritual reflections of a Wiccan lady. Most of the questionable cards actually make sense if you really think about them. The drawing on the Lover. Buyer beware! Coffee Crone I only gave these cards a "3" due to how the product is represented. I bought these cards for a friend that was just starting out. I thought this was suppose to be a "set" as shown in the picture as in she would be getting: the cards, the book, AND the pouch to hold the cards in. Imagine my surpise when she opened her gift to find only the cards and the book! NO pouch is included in this set what-so-ever! If you are going to show a picture as to what comes in a set, you should include ALL the items, not just part. So buyer beware!. Rev. Gina M. Pace is a true tarot expert teacher! Reverend Gina M.
