Melissa Noecker said Great start to a series by a debut author. Great start to a series by a debut author! It took a little while to get into the book but I think it was because it was written in different points of views and different years. After I was able to get into the story, it was definitely a roller coaster of emotions from all of the characters. For this story, the multiple POVs during the different years were definitely needed for the reader to get the whole story and really understand all of the characters. I can't wait to see what J.C. comes up with next!. Patricia Cordovez said A MUST READ. This book hooked me from page one. Don't want to give anything away so all I'm going to say is, YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK. Do not start reading late if you have to work the next day because this is one book that is hard to put down. There are parts that will make you cry and parts that will have you so mad that you want to choke that person for what they are doing. If I could I would give this book a 10 star review. Thank you J.C. Rochford for an amazing story. Can't wait for the next book. a must read, wow Lisa What can I say but WOW This book was truly captivating, ? This book was a true page turner. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. I loved how J.C. wrote from everyones point of view and how the story was affecting them. I am lookingg forward to reading the oil lamp next year!
