I found good descriptions of in-depth parts of speech and a couple Schlep For someone that likes to teach, I have to be at the top of my game. This study guide is very thorough and leaves nothing to question that I could think of when it comes to language arts. As I was paging through, I found good descriptions of in-depth parts of speech and a couple things that I have never heard of until reading about them in this book. The little quiz questions are good and I like those with not only the correct answers underneath but the three wrong answers from the multiple choice with explanations as to why they are not correct so each question has instant results on that page an. "Don't waste your time and money!" according to Kathleen Hibbert-Montoya. This book is not a good preparation for this test. It's not comprehensive enough; oddly, however, it has content that's not even on the test! Spend the extra ten dollars for the official NES practice test and/or the online interactive study guide--I recommend both. I did very well on the test after using those products.. I appreciate how the book really breaks it down when it comes to what you're learning and why. I am a person that has always struggled with certain subjects because of the "why" factor, and find this to be extremely informative, especially when it comes to taking the mock exams that are featured. The answer keys are also really helpful, allowing you to double check them with yours afterwards.
