The multi-tiered plot continues to get thicker, and the tension builds as the characters interact. Plus, the simple art style seems to add rather than take away, and in many ways legitimizes this story by taking away some of the exaggerate. Nanette Zuniga said Monster: the most epic manga in existence. Naoki Urasawa is a genius. Monster is one of his latest works and is nothing short of amazing. Seriously, it's shocking how good this manga is. It has a suspenseful and intriguing plot unlike any other manga I have ever read. It starts out in Vol. 1 *SPOILERS HERE*with a surgeon named Tenma who saves a boy's life from a bullet wound to the head. The boy grows up to become a murderer and Tenma is the suspect for these murdersand that's only the waaayy beginning. *END SPOILER* His art style is more realistic than other manga art and each character.
