and it looked like it had been washed in a laundry machine This book itself is very cute, and j'aime the illustrations. But the book itself that I received was from a public library somewhere in Texas, and it looked like it had been washed in a laundry machine. The binding was peeling off, the book had dirt and sticky stuff all over the pages, and the pages themselves had considerable wear and fraying.. SEH said Wonderful. Book is in great shape, so excited to use it! LOVE THE ILLUSTRATIONS! Thank you for helping me to keep my culture and language alive, through teaching my children German. Your books really help! I recommend for any bi-lingual family!. I really like reading it to her Chavelle Galindo This is the first bilingual book I've ever purchased for my daughter. I really like reading it to her, and she enjoys the pictures as well. The only issue I have with this book though is that I feel as if though there isn't enough clarity between some of the "opposite" pictures.
