DESCRIPTION:
Hilarious and heartfelt, My Dog: The Paradox eloquently illustrates the complicated relationship between man and dog.We will never know why dogs fear hair dryers, or being baited into staring contests with cats, but as Inman explains, perhaps we love dogs so much “because their lives aren’t lengthy, logical, or deliberate, but an explosive paradox composed of fur, teeth, and enthusiasm.”. Matthew Inman dishes another helping of hilarity from his online comic The Oatmealin My Dog
"Awesome Book" according to Loutlook. I preordered the book days ago. The book's content is almost the same as the one in oatmeal's website. But it's colored and there is one bonus page at the end of the book as well as a brief intro about the author, also it has a fancy hardcover.I feel both funny and sad at the same time, I can call this happiness. Totally worth it!. My favorite of his comics is "How to use a semicolon'' Such a cute book. I've been a fan of The Oatmeal for many years now. My favorite of his comics is "How to use a semicolon'', which I referred to constantly when writing papers in college. It was a brilliant and hilarious way to explain that ever elusive and puzzling punctuation mark. This book is even more adorable, and will be appreciated by many dog lovers. Great coffee book table or gift.. "Great Coffee Table Book for Oatmeal Style Humor Lovers" according to Frank Meeuwissen. Although this book is quite short, it is a great coffee table book and conversation starter. I have many friends/family that have or have had dogs and they when they read the book they were laughing out loud because the pictures and text are so funny and appropriate to any dog breed. I've always enjoyed the Oatmeal so I knew I would personally enjoy the humor in this book.
