DESCRIPTION:
SO said A must!!. I really like this book. Has tons of useful info. Not just IV therapy but infection control. Patho physiology. Very helpful for nurse or nursing major. I find myself referencing this book often in other allied Heath and science classes. Even with older edition I think it's a must. Actually a fun read if you're into it. Surprisingly I used it often for a microbiology lab. "Wealth of Information--appreciation grows as one grows in nursing" according to oRgaNic. What a great resource of information. I recommend this very highly to anyone who is interested in knowing more about IV therapeutics--the stuff you do every day as a nurse. You don't know what you don't know. After delving into this very beefy text, I learned why I was doing many of the things I do out of habit. Understanding WHY really helps with continuing safe practic. merlingirl said Excellent book for beginner vascular access nurses.
