Could change your mind? It was nice to find a book that tried hard to stick to "just the facts, M'am." If you love one of these presidents and can't stand the other, as many people do (myself included until I read this book) you may come away with a different perspective on your hero and the other guy as well. The author takes pains to be fair to both men, and the fact that this book was neither hagiography nor hatchet job was a welcome breath of fresh air. While still partial to my hero, I have to say. More in common than you might think. A good read on a very real level. An excellent review of the two most popular presidents of our time. It is truly informative as well as enjoyable to read, the parallels between are far more than you might have expected. But what really makes this book is it's ability to show us two iconic men as real people, and the influences that made them who they were, and what they became.. LaRue said Great reading. A comparison of these men was a brilliant idea. I was pleasantly surprised to find out there were things about Reagan that I liked, since I had never had a high opinion of him as a president. I also learned some interesting facts about Kennedy, some good and some disappointing. As a rule I read mysteries but I can tell you this book was fascinating and once I got started I couldn't put it down.
