Good book on both movie making and iMovie iMovie has tools that help your movie look professional, but the iMovie help files are very tedious to go through. There is a great deal of referencing, cross-referencing, and nothing is smoothly laid out. This book is another story, as it is very well laid out with clear instructions and illustrations. It is very long, but since these applications are powerful, it would be expected that any clear explanation of them is going to require some space.What is particularly good. Learning iMovie HD 6. ruel I bought this book "iMovie 6 & iDVD: The Missing Manual" because I was learning how to use iMovie HD 6. I actually have iMovie '08 and I got the other book "iMovie '08 & iDVD: The Missing Manual" when I read in that book how iMovie HD 6 had more sophisticated features like the editing timeline and the ability to take plugins. iMovie '08 is so different from iMovie HD 6 that users complained about features that were missing in iMovie '08.
