I believe both deserve their independent reviews, so that is what I have done.The author, Joan Johnston, always writes people in all facets of their characters. In The Virgin Groom she has developed the unlikely characters of a pro football player who suffered a severe injury and a young girl, his best friend, who also suffered both a severe and a traumatic injury. The way the author develops the characters and delves into their innermost thoughts and feelings keep. I liked both stories Lorilee Pilota I liked both stories. It was interesting for the Virgin Groom as in this day and age are there any? But I liked the friendship of the two main characters despite the different genders. I loved reading the book.The Temporary Groom, I also enjoyed as it was another good love story.
