DESCRIPTION:
Not what I expected Jenny Cline The primary reason I have rated this specific book (teacher edition vol 2) so poorly is for content. While there are a few pages per chapter of helpful tips for teaching, the majority of the book displays the same pages that are in the student edition. I find this to be quite redundant. If the author had omitted these pages, the teacher's manual could have been condensed into one book, thus saving a lot of paper. This would also save the consumer from paying for identical information twice. The curriculum is great, and is easy . Very good but. I've used this book with both junior high age and now with a 5th grader. If your child has a good grasp on math, it won't be too difficult for him. Teaches a lot of concepts and does a good job of it - both my older kids (who did it in junior high) said it made their entry level college chem classes much easier because they had been introduced to a lot of it by this book. However, be prepared to sort through lots of typos and some downright errors. We have found that sometimes they use terms incorrectly, and in a few places the. "" according to sheri. Love this book. I use it as a supplement in my Chemistry class. This is a very hands on, easy to understand book! Thanks so much!
