This book starts off right where the last one ended with the revelation of Bree's true identity. The starting felt a bit slow and tedious for me. I was expecting action from the get go but the first part was spent on the life and people of Nereidium. The glimpse into the mysterious water country was authentic and exciting. I loved the story built around it. If the previous book was about the other countries, then this book is about Nereidium only.I can totally understand the shock felt by everyone since Bree was tight.
