"Very poor editing" according to Kate 50. I've read previous Maggie Shayne books before and enjoyed them but this is one of the most poorly edited books I've ever read. Words were missing letters or just used incorrectly and quotation marks were either missing or placed incorrectly making it necessary to continually stop and re-read sections which is distracting and annoying. The story line itself was not too bad but it seemed to drag for me so I won't be reading the next in the series.. The story was good but the writing was horrible. Amazon Customer Only because the story was interesting did I suffer through all the grammar mistakes. I definitely will not be reading anything else from this author.. hmm It wasn't a horrible book. It was kind of monotonous. And aggravating Perhaps Ariana wouldn't have ended up how she ended up if raven and Duncan hadn't taken the time to have sex right in the middle of the most climatic part of the book! Stupid stuff like that is why I wasn't overly impressed with this book. And the TYPOS! I lost count of how many times father was written as rather.ugh. Anyone proofread these things??
