Robert D. Nelson said Five Stars. Much improved over 1st edition.. gt surber said tour de force, state of the art guidance for emergency medical workers pre and in hospital.. A two volume work on Emergency Medicine, well good enough for emergency medicine residents, and clearly enough worded for paramedics and their mentors and medical directors. One volume is on clinical aspects and one volume is on administrative aspects of emergency medicine, including paramedic programs. While this is called the first edition, NAEMS put out a similar book several years. That book was unfocused. David Cone of NAEMSP has resolved all the issues with the first book, and produced what will remain the standard . William E Brown, Jr said Every Paramedic educator should have this book on the shelf. Every Paramedic educator should have this book on the shelf after reading it. If Paramedics are working toward being professional, the clinical book, Volume I, is must reading for educators, Solid job for first edition.
