The text is succinct, and integrates well with the photographs that are of a uniformly high quality. Clinical and Experimental Opthalmology, Volume 34 -- "This is an atlas-style book and, as suggested by the title, is very comprehensively illustrated in colour. I think this book would be an absolutely excellent addition for reference purposes to ophthalmic libraries and outpatient departments."

Hey Dude said More on the skin than the eye. There are a lot of unusual diseases in this book. At least, unusual to the ophthalmologist. In other words, the focus seems to be on dermatologic disorders that may have ocular findings rather than ophthalmologic disorders that may have integumentary findings. That is part of what makes this book great for ophthalmologists.The text is well written, but as it is with most books like this, the key features of a diseases are not emphasized as compared to a laundry list of findings. Also, little discussion exists on treatment. The chapter organization is good and the chapters are not overly long. The pictures, in general, are very good. Howe. Good reference perryk0wrz I heard Ivan Schuab MD lecture in Kansas City at the KCO&O and heard about this book. It is a good reference for common and uncommon eye-skin diseases. Identify uncommon diseases and may help treat insomnia.
