A Book Vacation said Not for me.. I am so sorry to say that this novel isn't for me. Personally, I had too many issues with the novel to enjoy it in the least, though I do think the premise is there for a truly great read. Going in, I was excited as I liked the synopsis and the idea that Mark's phone created a sort of time-travel experience, but upon reading, I found that I didn't care for either of the main leads.. An exciting book with well written characters Tanya Contois Disconnected by A.K. Adler started a little slow but the pace picked up quickly. I thought the premise of the story was great and the author did a good job making the characters three dimensional.Out of the characters Jodie and Rebecca were easily my favorites.I also liked that the A.K. Adler didn't go over board with the science fiction aspect of the story and I was thrilled the s. A must read! jjelizalde The author was kind enough to provide me a coupon for this book. I had put off reading it thinking it was going to be too science fiction-y for me. Boy was I wrong! Although there is time travel (in a really innovative way!) I felt the book was more character driven. The book was well written, the characters believable and the story really great. I highly recommend!
