I'll spare you the brief story synopsis since nearly every review has one. This is why I think LaPoma's novel is OK. It brought so-called F-rated schools to light. I knew they existed, but that’s the extent of my knowledge. I’m not certain the inner-city school portrayal is representative of all such schools,. Mellissa Freeman said Four Stars. It didn't end how I expected but I couldn't put it down until I found out.. Not a ghost story I wasn't happy when I realized it was a rated x drama. I skipped many pages but it was definitely a good look at the messed up public school system.
