Response to those thinking this is WORKS oriented I'm a Christian in ministry who thought I was doing okay, until I read David Platt's Follow Me, and this particular one. God spoke and convicted me in a new way that stirred me up to live a more genuine Christ-following, self-dying life. How rewarding it's been to my spiritual life, in that God's renewed my love for Him, and He's opened up my eyes to a lot of major things I was ignorant about.I'd like to respond to those thinking that this book confuses people a. "Crazy is the right word for this book." according to Bob Browning. Most of this was inspiring, but I can't give it a 5 star because I believe Father Chan is way too critical of his readers, and does not give them the hope they need. Yes I realize there are 'slakers' in the christian faith, but that no excuse to attack them. To give them hope, forgiveness, and guidance is the only approach that God uses these days. Saying things like selling everything, giving up all your possessions to follow Jesus path is just short of the 'Cr. "A Must read" according to Peggy Swink. Every Christian, young or old should examine their relationship with Christ. They should want to! Crazy loves opened my eyes to how I should continually grow and never be satisfied with how I serve the Lord. Not focusing my salvation on it but my devotion to Him on it.
