"Good Book to pass the server + test." according to P. Pappas. Bought this book and read it cover to cover. Was able to pass the server + test with no issues. You also need to buy some practice questions as well in order to pass. I did not use the ones that came with the book.. Pretty solid book! J. R. Carr I wasn't sure what to expect when i ordered this, but I was pleasantly surprised that this book reflected updates to the exam from the previous version. The Server+ exam seems to have more or less died on the vine, but I wanted to get it under my belt. I feel like this book covered the material fairly well, including the more important points that the older Server+ prep books lack (due to age of the material). I passed the exam with an almost 100% score, though I have been doing this for several years, so there's a lot of knowledge knocking around in the old brain bank. This book at least focused that knowledge and concentrated on the . Decent Not a bad book really, I just wish it included the answers to the review questions. This book was created by COMPTIA for use in a classroom environment. Therefore, it doesn't include the answers to the review questions at the end of the chapters (the teacher's edition does I believe). It is simply a straight-forward information book that pretty much presents the information you are going to need to know for the test. There are several labs in each chapter, but you will need all the equipment in order to do them.
