I have read some of Sharon Saltzburg's materials before so much was repetitive but this book is a useful tune-up to my more or less daily practice. It would also be useful for someone new to meditation who wanted to understand the philosophy and method without being bogged down in a lot of very religious. "compliation" according to David A. Myers. A reasonable compilation of previously published articles on meditation practice. It does not replace the direct relationship with a teacher however.. M. Landers said Lucid and Profound. For beginners as well as people advanced in meditation, Commit To Sit is an excellent primer with all sorts of great information . It's articles are short and helpful.
