Currently Robert lives in Troy, with his wife Gladys and his two children. He left college to spend almost two years in Los Angeles making creatures for movies, from small movies no one has heard of (“And you thought your parents were weird”) to much bigger budget movies (“Hook”, “Radio Flyer”, “Operation Dumbo Drop”). . With strong elements of both steampunk and traditional fairy tale, the book is a great short read, sure to entertain casual readers, but also crammed full of novel folkloric, magical, and pseudo-technological concepts to spark the imagination of genre veterans.
