DESCRIPTION:
Stephen A. Esper said Wonderful Textbook. This book is outstanding. In many textbooks, authors too often speak in lofty words and technical terms, and the valid points made become lost in confusing language. In contrast to those books, while it is clear that Dr. Thiele's work is steeped in factual knowledge and up to date evidence, he is able to impart that knowledge and information to the reader in language that is very easy to comprehend. Further, I found Dr. Thiele's journey through echocardiography and ultrasonography to be enjoyable and well written. His discussion of ultra. easy to read, comprehensive, and great value This book is a great buy. Witty and easy to read like Chris Gallagher's echo books this book gives detail and expands into ultrasound technology application in the ICU. I highly recommend this book to residents, fellows, and attending physicians with an interest in learning for deepening their understanding of ultrasound technology for the ICU or the operating room. In essence, this book is easy to read, comprehensive, and great value.
In addition to anesthesiology and critical care, he has received board certification in advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiography from the National Board of Echocardiography and holds a certificate of completion in critical care ultrasonography from the American College of Chest Physician.(note: this book was originally written as an iBook, because of its support for embedded videos; as Kindle Direct Publishing does not allow self-publishers to embed videos, this version of the book relies on screen shots and external links for all videos
