This book is a great reference book because almost every chapter has its own topic, the Table of Contents is detailed enough to use for research and it has a large, extensive index. It is also easy for the paralegal teacher to prepare lectures and assign corresponding topics for the students to read before the lectures. This is the book that the paralegal and any person that is interested in family law will want to keep in their library.. It is extremely easy for the students to use and understand. The chapters follow a logical progression so that the paralegal can get a sense of the timeline in family law matters. Because of the amount of general paralegal information, this book can be utilized by all paralegals, regardless of the discipline. This is a family law textbook for paralegals and it has a companion workbook (California Family Law Workbook). This textbook is a comprehensive family law book and the only book on the market today that includes all of the important family law cases, codes and California Rules of Court
