"Save Your Money!" according to Star Child. I couldn't wait for this book to come out because I am a huge fan of Queen and an even bigger fan of Brian May! This book, however, disappointed me. I truly thought I was going get a nice glimpse of the man behind the guitar, but I didn't. Most of the book provides information that most Queen fans already know about him but glosses over like, for example, the reasons for his failed marriage or about his relationship with his children. The book also focuses a lot on Freddie Mercury, which made me wonder who this book was really about. I was not looking for tabloid fodder, but I don't feel Laura Jackson provi. Silvertip said Awful. As a huge Brian May fan I couldn't wait to pick this up. The book is a huge tease and I wonder how Laura Jackson can be at all proud of this work. What is covered in the book is mostly things that a Queen fan would already know. Even after I read the negative reviews, I still bought the book hoping to get an extra glimpse of the greatest musician. I made a mistake. Save your money.
